Breastfeeding Hannah has been sooo different than breastfeeding Sam – sure we had a few little kinks here and there but overall it was a totally different experience! She has been a quick nurser since birth and only nurses on one side at a time – so when we got to 1 year of nursing there wasn’t any “YAY, we made it one year” because the whole year was easy and enjoyable (unlike Sam’s) and these days she will only nurse when she first wakes up in the morning – any other time of day, even before bed she will go to nurse then pull away and cry… so I don’t even offer anymore. Its kinda weird to go from a Boob lovin’ child (Sam) to one who could care less (Hannah).
I think our days are numbered…..
