I have come to realize I am not a "baby" mom.

I remember my sister telling me she would have lots of kids if she could give them up at 12 months -haha -she loved the early years.

 

Don't get me wrong -  I loved snuggling with my babies but I prefer the more independent stage.

 

This weekend we moved Hannah to a big girl bed.

so nice to be done with cribs!!

 

 

After

 

She LOVES her bed!  She played in it all day Sunday!

 

The 1st night she got out like 100 times -it took 90 mins for her to stay in her bed.

 

The next day - no nap but she stayed in her bed and played with her dolls

 

The 2nd night - she got up 1 time and after that stayed in bed.

 

When she wakes up she just sits there until I come get her.

 

Soooo much smoother than Sam's move to  a bed!  =0)



One last Christmas Pic

 

We finally got a chance to take the tree down this weekend -Sam was not too happy about it though.  In fact every night before bed he asks me "How many more days till Christmas?"  LOTS buddy!

 

I never did get a pic of the kids wear the pjs I made them so we threw them on for one last pic!

Snow!

We got a nice snow fall today -7 inches!

Sam: Why do you keep yelling at me?

Me: Because you don't listen Sam. If you listened I wouldn't have to yell

Sam: Well I can't help it! God made me this way!

Me: oh yeah?

ok now I felt bad and gave him a hug

Me: Umm No. God lets you make your own decisions so don't blame this on him.

Sam: hmph!

Me: Let me try

Sam: No No You're not doing it

Me: Now am I?

Sam: No like this

Me: Now?

Sam: No mommy, you cant do it

Me: Well that's pretty cool that you can

Sam: yeah God made me special didn't he?

Me: he sure did buddy - he sure did!
