14 down! 6 to go!

Well Sam may be behind his peers in crawling and walking but he is making up for it in teeth! lol
Last night I noticed 2 new bottom teeth!! So we now have 8 on top and 6 on the bottom - only 6 more until he has a full mouth!

I got some bad news today =(

My beloved Grape Jelly lipsmacker has been discontinued =(
I emailed the company requesting where to find it and got this reply:

It is never easy to discontinue or change a product that has been on the market and has earned the loyalty of customers. yes! I was VERY loyal!

We are sorry to say that both our stock and our retail customer’s stock are completely depleted and we do not have a replacement product. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I guess "2" sorry's are better than one

Thanksgiving at Goddard

Mark and I went to Goddard today to have Thanksgiving lunch with Sam! What a fun time!

Off to school!

I snagged this pic of my cutie as we were heading out to school today - thnk goodness for cell phone cameras! LOL

oh and those are q-tips he is holding - I have to use them in the morning

to distract him while changing his diaper - lol

Benefits of being short

... I can sleep however I want too!

This pic is hard to see because I used my cell phone to take a picture of the video monitor - Sam's feet are smashed into the left side of the crib and his head is smashed into the right side of the crib - Instead of sleeping "long" ways he is horizontal! LOL

First Word!

Ok so this one is going in the baby book! Yes, mama and dada are real words but to me they dont count! lol

He *might* have said more before but it was a push - heehee

Sam is doing great with his signing but hasnt had any big words come out..... until now~

Yesterday we were in the kitchen and I was holding him - we walked past the counter and he put out his hand and said "nanas" - I looked and there were the bananas! I said yes! bananas! Then I walk away and he screams "nanas, nanas, nanas"!!! So I gave in and gave him half of one - I try to be careful with them so he doesnt get constipated! The rest of the day every time he saw them he pointed and said nanas and cried until he got a bite! So, the bananas are now hidden in the cabinet.... =)

Happy Halloween!

Sam had lots of Halloween fun this year starting at school with the parade on Friday afternoon! They did it by class and Sam wasnt into walking so Miss Alisa had to carry him - here are a few pics:

On Halloween Josh carved Sammy's pumpkin for him and then he and Sam got dressed up in their costumes - after a quick photo op Sam was off to bed and Josh went out for some trick-or-treating. We live in a fairly large and nice neighborhood, I assumed it would be packed with trick-or-treaters so I LOADED up on the candy!!! We had maybe 20 kids all night! ugh! By 7pm the "Pls dont use doorbell, baby sleeping" sign went on the door and I started giving kids 2 big handfuls each - they were stokked! =) One little girl came by the house and handed me a note - as part of her community service for Confirmation she is collecting left-0ver candy for those families that cant afford food (ok, I admit, I chuckled when I read that, but I know her heart is in the right place), so tomorrow she is coming around the neighborhood and if you want to donate you just leave your candy on the front porch - so, that is where all our leftovers are going =)
