Hannah came down with a fever on Sat Dec 29th and we just assumed it was viral - on Day 5 of the fever we took her the dr where they ran a strep (negative) and checked out her ears and throat. Everything looked normal and they sent us home.... a few hours later
Oh no -not again! The sores are on her tongue, lips and insides of her mouth - her upper lip is swollen and she just cries and wants to be held 24/7 - the only meds that can help is Motrin, which doesnt help at all. This is by far the worst childhood disease we have dealt with.
So, today is day sick - fever is still at 102 and my arms are aching (from holding her all day). She has brief moments of happiness when she likes to wash her hands
Or rearrange my tupperware
For now we wait it out and pray she never gets it again!!!
