Last year a few days before Halloween we had a snow storm....this year a hurricane.... crazy October's I tell you! We were bracing for the worst as they were expecting us to get hit hard and lose power - we had the deck cleared off of everything and the generator was pulled out and ready to go.
We had some strong winds and some rain but the creek didn't even flood - seems like the storm was south of us - the only "damage" was our backyard neighbors tree - it was a HUGE one and it came down and fell on the bridge - pretty crazy looking
Schools were closed so we just hung out at the house in our pjs and snacked =)
