The Nonni Monster

In case you havent heard of him.... the Nonni Monster eats nonnies, aka Pacifiers.  Well the time came and the nonni monster came to our house. First he started with the ones downstairs - he eats them!

I handed one to Sam and he tried to suck on it - then he pulled it out and looked at it, then tried to suck on it again.  Then he looked at it again

Sam:  Its broke mommy, it has a hole in it

Me: uh-oh, looks like the nonni monster was here - he eats nonnies

Sam: Will he fix it?

Me: nope, he only eats them - throw it in the trash

(Sam throws it away and asks for another one)

Sam: this one's broke too!

(Sam throws away 2 more)

A few days later the nonni moster ate the ones that were in the car too!

Sam: Oh no! The nonni monster was here!

Me: Sorry buddy, you're too big for nonnies anyway

A few days later he visted his school and ate the one he used at naptime. Miss Megan knew about the nonni monster and watched Sam at naptime. He tried to suck on it then just held it and went to sleep - he never said anything to Miss Megan about it.  The next day Miss Megan asked Sam if he wanted his nonni or if she should leave it in his cubbie - he said to leave it in the cubby.

I have been telling Sam that the nonni monster will soon come to eat his bedtime nonni - its the only one he has left!  Last night he told me the nonni monster was coming soon to eat his crib nonni and I asked him what the nonni monster looked like and he began to draw

So, if you ever see this guy near your house you better hide your Nonni!!!!!
