Sam's haircut

Sam got a haircut today - I went to a different place and they did a much better job - it looks cute! 

And then I snagged this picture of Sam in his new Huggies Jeans diapers - LOL

Donuts with Daddy!

Today Sam's school hosted Donuts with Daddy in honor of Fathers day.  Sam loved having his daddy there and showing him around his classroom and play yard!

WHAT??

Sam has started the "what" phase - lol - When I ask a question he says "what?"  Its very funny.  He also likes to hold up or point to things and say "whats that?" but he says it really fast and it sounds more like "was zat"!  Tantrums are in full force too!  They usually happen after his nap - I think he is still tired and gets mad easily - we just let him be and he calms on his own.

We got his bi-annual report from Goddard and he is doing great with all his fine motor skills and vocabulary and he has become quite the teachers helper =)

Weekend Happenings

It was a quiet weekend and super hot!!  Mark worked on the treehouse and I pulled weeds and cleaned - haha - boring life we have!

Saturday we went to our neighbors house for a swim and their 80lb lab got in the pool - Sam thought it was the funniest thing!!

Piper got a bath too =)  She looks so skinny when all her fur is wet!

20 months and 2 days

Sam is weaned!  I wasnt sure how long I would nurse but Sam was slowly dropping sessions here and there and with my history of clogged ducts we took it nice and slow.  Last Tuesday was the last time he nursed. He still asks here and there but I just tell him they are empty or all gone and he is fine with that.  I'm indifferent to being done - I wouldnt say I enjoyed it but it was something that I gave to my son as a gift - the wonders of mommy's milk =)
