White House Easter Egg Roll

I have been trying to get tickets for the White House Easter Egg roll for 3 years now.

Every year I apply for the lottery and every year I am left empty handed!

So, imagine my shock when I got an email saying we got tickets!!!

Me: Sam! We got tixkets to the White House Easter Egg Roll!

Sam: so

Me: Umm, you might get to see the president!

Sam: Big deal - I see him on TV all the time

Yep, I was way more excited than the kids!!!

We got to see President Obama!

Afterwards we stayed in DC for a few hours and checked out the city
and the Cherry Blossoms
