Sam

Sam loves to help out in the kitchen - for his 1/2 birthday I got him some new bowls and a knife of his very own!  He likes to make egg salad and regular salad (lettuce and veggies)

 

 

 

Sam: Mommy did you know I have 3 girlfriends.

Me: Wow - that's a lot!

Sam: Yeah so I am going to marry Juliana, then Anna, then Gianna, then I am going to marry Juliana again because she is my favorite.

Sam: And look I just saw Jesus's mom!!!

Me: you did?

Sam: Yes and she wasn't even dead!!!

Me: goose bumps

Sam: She wasn't mommy - she was alive!!

What we've been up to!

Sam took mark to his dad's house  - Gramps has a garage full of wood and tools - Sam was in heaven!! They built a work bench for Sam!

Hannah and I stayed home. It was beautiful last weekend!

 

I took Hannah to church for the 1st time since she was baptized (forever ago).

 

She did great.

I told her we need to be quiet in church.

 

Hannah: Where is the TV?

Me: there isn't a tv - that's the choir

Hannah: That was a good song mommy!

Hannah: That girl is talking mommy and we have to be quiet!

Me: yep, shhh

Hannah: Who's crying?

Me: a baby

Hannah: Is it time to stand up again?

Me: not yet

Hannah: Here mommy, read your book!

 

She collected all the pamphlets in the pews and colored some and ate her goldfish.

 

 

Some friends sent the kids gift cards to build a bear so we went there.  Kids had fun picking out

their stuffed animal and clothes

Hannah wanted a backpack like Sam - she wears this all the time.

Me: Well one day you will get married and I don't think your wife

wants to sleep with me and daddy

Sam: She wont care - you have a really big bed mommy - it can fit 4 people!

Pets

Sam: When Piper dies can me and Hannah get a guinea pig?

Me: A guinea pig?

Sam: Yeah, so we can have our own pet

Me: Are you going to take care of it?  Feed it, water it, and clean out the poop?

Sam: Well you can do it

Me: If you have a pet you have to take responsibility for it

Sam: Well sometimes we help with Piper so maybe you can help with our pet

Me: Ok, that's true - I can help you

 

 

......oh wait... did I just agree to get a guinea pig?????

Happy 3rd Birthday Hannah!

 

 

Ah, my baby is 3!

 

She has her moments but has overall been a very easy child!

 

I call her my macaroni girl since that is what she tells you she wants to eat if you ask!

 

She loves it when her hair is curly and just smiles in the mirror.

 

Sam got her a box for her birthday - of course she loved it =)

She requested pink cupcakes with sprinkles for her classmates

I attempted to make her a doll cake - turned out pretty good

 

she loved it then asked for her princess back - lol

Ice Skating

Sam said he wanted to play ice hockey.... well 1st you need to learn to ice skate!

 

So lessons started today!
