We headed to WV this weekend for my brother's surprise 40th birthday party!  We got a hotel and the kids had a blast - Sam was actually mad that we had to leave the hotel to attend the party! ha!

Happy Thanksgiving

We stayed home this year and it was really nice!  Yes, I stayed in my pjs all day!!!

We made pancakes and eggs and bacon for breakfast and just lounged around the house all day!

Sam: When I grow up I want to be a police man!

Me: Cool!  Did you know Gramps use to be a police man?

Sam: no

Me: He was a long time ago but then he retired

Sam: Well since Gramps is old and tired maybe he can make the handcuffs shoot out the police car that way he wont have to chase the bad guys!

Me: Well that's clever thinking!

Sam: Actually I want to be a race car driver!

Me: What happened to being a police man?

Sam: The handcuffs are too heavy!

While I was getting ready for work 2 days ago I hear a thump but ignore it.  Then Sam walks in the bathroom and has one of his Christmas gifts in his hand.

 

Sam: Mommy when can I open this?

Me: look of horror  Sam! I told you to stay out of my things! That is a gift for another little boy!

Sam: Sorry! I didn't know.

 

I grab the gift and he goes downstairs.  I go in the bathroom to open the shade and see paper in the trash can.  OMG!!!  He opened one of Hannah's gifts too!!!  This one he opened ALL THE WAY and played with it!!!!

 

I call him back up to again remind him to stay out of my things.

 

The door now has a lock!

Sam: Come on Hannah just pee!

Hannah: no

Sam: Hannah!!  Come on Girl!

Hannah: smiles

Sam: If you pee I will give you a tattoo!

Hannah: I want the tattoo!

Sam: Oh and a pencil! Would you like the pencil too?

Hannah: Yes!

Sam: Ok then just pee!

I walk in

Sam: Mom I got this!

I leave

Sam: Hannah? Did you pee?

Hannah: no

Sam: Ok well your not gonna get your tattoo or pencil then and

you're gonna be in diapers until you die!

Hannah:  all done!

I come in

Me: Did you go potty?

Hannah: No!
